Jimmy John’s Expands Across Canada with 12 New Stores by Year’s End

Jimmy John’s, the “freaky fast” sandwich shop famous for its fresh bread, premium meats, and obsession with pickles, is making a big move into Canada.

Following the opening of its second Canadian location at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, the brand has announced plans to roll out 12 more stores across the country before the end of 2025. New spots are expected in Winnipeg, Ottawa, Edmonton, Barrie, Windsor, and multiple locations across the GTA.

The menu features a mix of cold and toasted sandwiches made fresh in-house daily, plus their popular Jimmy Chips. For lighter appetites, there’s also the lettuce-wrapped “Unwich.”

At Canada Takeout, we’ve got our eye on the Italian Night Club sub — a stacked signature that’s already a fan favourite south of the border. With Jimmy John’s investing in a Canadian footprint, it won’t be long before more Canadians get a taste.
