S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Regional Competition Returns, Open for Applications
An opportunity for young chefs across the country to be provided mentorship, visibility, competitive experience and prestige at a professional level, S.Pellegrino has announced its 5th installment of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition is now open to applications.
Opening doors at a national level to the more global culinary community, participants will have the chance to be side by side with esteemed Canadian chefs to learn and interact in addition to competitive obligations. Winners of the Canadian regional competition, one of 16 world regions hosting, will then go on to compete in a 2023-scheduled grand finale.
In addition to the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Award to be given out, other awards up for grabs include the S.Pellegrino Award for Social Responsibility, the Acqua Panna Award for Connection in Gastronomy and the Fine Dining Lovers Food for Thought Award.
“With pandemic lockdowns challenging the livelihoods of young Chefs in Canada, and around the world, S.Pellegrino is proud to support the culinary community in a meaningful and impactful way. We are thrilled to announce the fifth edition of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition, and open applications for young Canadian chefs to compete in a dedicated Regional Competition ahead of competing on the global finale stage,” says Paul De Larzac, President of Nestle Waters Canada. “The competition and the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy support the culinary community and chefs of tomorrow by offering mentorship, guidance and supporting creativity and inclusivity in the world of gastronomy.”
