Experts believe takeout-specific menus are here to stay, especially due to their higher margins and ease of creation, putting less pressure on staff needs and budgets.

Operators executing business out of smaller than the usual brick and mortar locations is also an ongoing trend predicted to stay on track, if not rise significantly. Dedicated delivery kits, takeout counters, to-go experiences and limited-service restaurants have become major outlets for culinary creativity and exploration with lower rent costs.
