Il Padrino (Toronto, ON)

Promising the tastes of rustic homestyle Italian cuisine, Bari’s Chef Concetta Amaral is bringing his debut restaurant Il Padrino to Toronto’s Little Italy neighbourhood.

Southern Italian-inspired dishes will include Lasagna al Forno (w/ minced veal in a béchamel rosé sauce), Cavatelli Con Rapini (w/ garlic enriched olive oil) and the signature Il Padrino Pizza, comprised of parmigiana eggplant, mozzarella and the restaurants own tomato sauce.

Diners can also expect menu offerings such as meat dishes, shared apps, and salads.

40 indoor seats and 30 outdoor seats are slated to be available upon opening this month.
