10 Black-Owned Takeout Spots to Try During ByBlacks Restaurant Week

ByBlacks Restaurant Week 2023 Fall Edition is running from November 20-26. Don’t miss this week-long celebration of delicious food, vibrant culture, and community at black-owned restaurants across Canada! Participating restaurants are offering prix-fixe menus at a 10-20% discount and include dine-in restaurants, takeout spots, food trucks, ghost kitchens, pop-ups and caterers.

Tommie’s Jerk is offering western Canadians a fresh and innovative way to share Jamaican Jerk Chicken Tacos.

Appetizer: 2 Mama’s Cheezy Rice & Peas with Cajun sauce (Jamaican Rice & Peas, with shredded and melted cheese and spicy Cajun sauce drizzled on top)

Entree: 2 Jamaican Jerk Burritos (choice of Jerk Chicken-boneless, Jerk Beef, or Jerk Pork with melted cheese, jerk bbq sauce, lettuce and peach mango salsa)

Dessert: 2 Island Mango Cheesecakes (with a smooth mango sauce and mango fruit drizzle all over)
