1. Reign at Fairmount Royal York
Bored of turkey? With a choice of both ham and turkey, Reign at Fairmount Royal York offers both 4 and 8 person Thanksgiving takeout kits which include appetizers, soup, stuffing, gravy, 3 sides and your choice of pumpkin, vanilla bean cream or apple pie. This dinner is perfect for a group of foodies who are looking to have a gluttonous Thanksgiving dinner without the cooking.
2. Pusateri’s
A traditional Thanksgiving takeout dinner resembling “catering” more than “takeout” is offered at Pusateri’s. This is great for both large parties and also for guests bringing appetizer platters or dessert trays to a holiday dinner. Their Thanksgiving offerings range from Artisanal Cheese and Salami Platters to Apple Cider Brined Sliced Turkey to a Classic Thanksgiving Turkey Package.
3. P&M
For those of you dining solo, P&M offers Dinner for One at $39 which includes turkey, sides and dessert. This is a great option for those looking to be festive but not willing to cook an entire turkey for one (or even two).
4. TOCA by The Ritz-Carlton
TOCA at the Ritz-Carlton restaurant offers both dine-in and take-out. This includes a 3-course meal with turkey and all of the trimmings. There is also a dine-in brunch option that includes interactive live-action stations and a raw seafood bar. Also, my personal favourite is the unique hand painted plates that diners can enjoy prior to dinner. Orders will need to be reserved by October 4, 2022 for take out.
5. Veloute Bistro
Diners on the west-end of Toronto can pick up a locally sourced Thanksgiving dinner which includes a free range turkey, maple syrup & cinnamon pumpkin soup, cranberry stuffing, roasted demi-glace mini-Yukon gold potato, organic carrots and brussel sprouts. They also have pumpkin pie to end the evening with a delicious slice of sweetness. For those looking for variety from turkey, there are 4 takeout options to choose from: Smoked Australian boneless leg of lamb, Smoked Whole AAA aged Beef Tenderloin, Smoked Prime Ribs and Smoked free range farm whole duck. For the perfect wine pairing, Veloute also houses an experienced sommelier prepared to pair your dinner with the perfect vino.
* Special Shoutout: Lakeview Restaurant A list of Thanksgiving roundups would not be complete without mention of The Lakeview’s deep-fried turkey (along with its vegetarian Tofurkey counterpart). Not yet announced, we can likely expect a 12th annual edition of the Toronto staple to be released this year. Stay tuned for the announcement — it sells out very quickly!
