Indigo Partners with Good Earth Coffeehouse
Bookshops and coffee stops have always made for a perfect retail pairing, and now Canada’s leading book and lifestyle retailer Indigo is bringing a new coffeehouse experience to select stores via a partnership with Good Earth Cafes Ltd.
Taking a store by store, market by market approach, Indigo is shifting its cafe spaces with a focus on local business, regional relevance, customer experience, great food and drink options and continuing to partner with businesses from coast to coast who share like-minded values.
“We’re excited to partner with Good Earth Coffeehouse to bring their elevated experience to our customers,” said Peter Ruis, President, Indigo. “With aligned core values of quality, a commitment to sustainable practices, and bringing people together, it could not be a more natural fit. Good Earth prides itself in being a community coffeehouse with good food, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer our customers an opportunity to enjoy the space and connect with one another while they shop with us.”
Good Earth Coffeehouse was first opened in Calgary, Alberta in 1991 by founder Nan Eskenazi and currently has over 40 locations across 6 provinces. Wanting to offer a community gathering place and an elevated food and drink experience, their menu includes Italian tradition-inspired espresso drinks plus dairy-free smoothies, tea lemonades, cold brew beverages, seasonal offerings, baked goods, breakfast items, stews, soups, paninis, flatbreads, salads and desserts.
“We are so pleased to partner with a like-minded brand, one which values community and connectedness. We believe the social interaction that takes place in our coffeehouses is valuable – as valuable as the exceptional, ethically sourced coffee and fresh food we serve,” says Nan Eskenazi, Founder of Good Earth Cafes Ltd.
