Denny’s Canada Launches Test Kitchen in Vancouver – Customers To Shape New Menu

Denny’s, Canada’s iconic diner, is revolutionizing the way it creates its menu. Denny’s is excited to share its latest innovation, a Test Kitchen restaurant at 1759 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC, creating widespread community participation to help influence and inform its renowned all-day menu.

With the launch of a new Test Kitchen, Denny’s is handing over the reins to its guests, giving them the opportunity to taste and critique new dishes, just like a food critic, and influence what ultimately makes the cut.

In a press release Denny’s said it will be featuring never-before-tasted dishes and fan favourites, the Test Kitchen will rotate menu items throughout the year, with flavours and recipes altered based on guest feedback. Denny’s is committed to keeping its menu exciting and innovative, and what better way to do that than by tapping into the diverse opinions of their loyal customers.

The current Test Kitchen offerings include items such as the Twisted Club served with a brand-new coleslaw and Denny’s classic wavy-cut fries, the All-Canadian Diner Breakfast, Fettuccine Marinara with Chipotle Prawns, and updated versions of Denny’s classic burgers.

“We couldn’t just change our menu without input from our guests, especially when we have so many classic favourites like The Grand Slam and Moons Over My Hammy,” says Deborah Gagnon, Denny’s Canada President, and COO. “There’s no better way to shape the future of our menu than by inviting our community to give their unfiltered opinions on which dishes live up to the test.”

Vancouver makes history as the first Denny’s Test Kitchen location to invite the community to shape the future of the menu across Canada. Guests can expect plenty more opportunities to be a part of this innovation as Denny’s aspires to bring its Test Kitchen to various markets nationwide in the coming year.
