In 2024 Vancouver’s pizza scene welcomed new pizza!  Here are five notable openings that our team had to try.

1. Don’t Argue Slice Shop: Originally closed in 2019, Don’t Argue! made a comeback in March 2024 as a slice shop inside Caffè Soccavo on Commercial Drive. Known for its New York-style pizza, popular offerings include the vodka pepperoni and pancetta pineapple slices.

2. Via Tevere Pizzeria Napoletana: In late May 2024, the Morra brothers expanded their renowned Neapolitan pizza offerings by opening a new location on Main Street. This establishment continues their tradition of serving authentic Neapolitan pizzas in a cozy atmosphere.<

3. Elio Volpe: Opened in March 2024 in Cambie Village, Elio Volpe offers Southern Italian fare, including dishes like grilled branzino with artichoke tapenade. While not exclusively a pizzeria, their menu features Italian dishes that may include pizza options.<

4. Just Pizza: Co-owners Jan Natividad and Steven Che introduced this new take-out, delivery, and dine-in pizza spot in East Vancouver in early summer 2024. The restaurant offers a playful approach to pizza, catering to various preferences.<
