California Pizza Kitchen Now Open in Edmonton

Making its debut into Canada, California Pizza Kitchen opened their first Canadian location at 5260 Windermere Boulevard NW in Edmonton, Alberta on August 1, 2022.

Guests at the new Edmonton location will be able to enjoy seasonal fresh-forward menus with dishes like CPK’s signature hand-tossed pizzas, pastas, and desserts alongside an elevated beverage program.

CPK Alberta CEO Naheed Shariff and his mother Samira are behind the Alberta expansion, each bringing a wealth of experience in the restaurant franchising industry.

“We were first introduced to California Pizza Kitchen in the mid 1990’s and were immediately inspired by its culture and innovation. We’re honored and excited to bring this iconic, forward-thinking brand to Canada for the first time, while simultaneously attributing to job creation here in Alberta,” said Naheed. “CPK offers a fun, healthy, alternative experience that guests long for, and we’re thrilled to offer Edmonton residents a taste of that. The brand’s innovative, California-fresh cuisine combined with the benevolent culture of the people truly solidified the deal.”

CPK Edmonton will be open daily at 11am, and close Sunday/Monday at 10pm, Tuesday-Thursday at 11pm and Friday/Saturday at 12am.
